Sight Reading Test - Thurs., April 4 - study all elements of fiction and be prepared to use literary language.

Content Test - Friday, April 5 - study: author names, all element notes, all short stories.

Be prepared to answer literary terms questions.

I will ask at least one question about each of the following short stories: "Hills Like White Elephants,"  "A Lady's Beaded Bag," "We Have to Sit Opposite," "A Hunger Artist," "A Serious Talk," "The Charmer,"  and "The Blue Bouquet."

I will ask about the following elements: setting and atmopsphere, conflict, theme, character, irony, symbol, and point of view.

The best way to study is to go over each element in each story. Study by yourself, then study with a friend asking questions.
