For the test: make sure you have knowledge of the individual pilgrims and the overarching themes of The Prologue. Have some quotes at the ready. Know details of food, appearances, clothes, colours, and the four humours. Understand the levels of satire.
Know also the Medieval Notes, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and Bonny Barbara Allan. Know the literary techniques for both. Think of these works in the context of the times.
